Promotion of agricultural plastic drip irrigation technology

cotton is growing well in the endless farmland of Xinjiang. It didn't rain, and I didn't see anyone watering. Why did the crops grow so well? It turned out that drip irrigation was used here, that is, through the plastic pipes buried in the ground, precious water was transported to the roots of plants, and the drops flowed out, so that it could be fully utilized, avoiding evaporation and loss. Xinjiang production and Construction Corps alone, at present, announced a research report at the 2014 annual meeting of the building waterproofing industry by the China building waterproofing association that the farmland using field drip irrigation technology has reached 1.6 million mu. According to the preliminary plan of the water conservancy department, during the "Tenth Five Year Plan", the farmland using drip irrigation in China will reach 10million mu. Drip irrigation system consists of water source, head hub and water transmission and distribution pipes. The main, branch and capillary pipes of pipes are made of polyethylene plastic, whether they are anti-aging black polyethylene pipes placed on the ground or white polyethylene pipes suitable for burial

China is one of the water poor countries in the world, and water-saving irrigation is the general trend and imperative. This provides a lot of demand for all kinds of plastic water-saving equipment, including pipes and fittings, emitters, sprinklers, geotextiles, etc. It is predicted that during the Tenth Five Year Plan period, the annual demand for agricultural plastic water-saving equipment will reach 1.7 million tons

crops grow well because of good weather. Nowadays, people can create a microclimate suitable for its growth through film covering. China has become the country with the largest output and use of agricultural film in the world when designing oil tanks for tensile testing machines. According to the prediction of the Ministry of agriculture, by 2005, the cultivation area of horticultural facilities in China will reach about 23million mu, and the national plastic film coverage area will reach 170million mu. In addition, the annual demand for agricultural plastic products is about 3million tons, including forage film, plastic seedling containers, insect prevention, fishing utensils, shallow sea (inland river) breeding utensils, agricultural product storage and preservation materials, pesticide instruments, foam plastic plates, etc

there is no doubt that agriculture is a promising market for our petrochemical enterprises producing plastic raw materials. But can we say that this market must be ours? No. Don't underestimate agricultural products. People also have requirements for variety, quality and performance, which we may not be able to meet now. Taking the film material covering the greenhouse as an example, there are only more than 20 varieties produced in China, and the function is single. It is limited to the changes in the specifications of thin, thick and wide, so it is not multifunctional compared with steel parts. Foreign countries have colored mulching films, which can be matched with various colors according to the needs of crop growth, so as to increase output and improve quality. There is also weeding film, which can inhibit the growth of weeds. Take water-saving irrigation equipment for example. At present, the production of equipment for sprinkler and drip irrigation in China can not meet the needs, while foreign countries with more advanced technology in this area are optimistic about China's huge market potential, and have entered China in various ways. Domestic enterprises are facing fierce market competition. Agricultural plastics have a broad market, but this market is not readily available. We need to work hard to catch up with the world's advanced level in order to make great achievements
